Arts & Crafts from around the World!
We take the kids around the world, and stop on all 7 continents that enables the children to build a wider view of the world!
Although we provide specific instructions and materials for each project, the child is allowed to make choices and add his/her own imaginative ideas. We do not expect perfectly finished projects, as the idea is to encourage creativity and not intimidate the young artist/crafter. For younger children ages 5-7, the crafts are kept simple yet interesting to avoid frustration.
- Extra pointers about the craft, culture, and country are added along the way to create international art awareness!
- Materials used range from tissue paper, construction paper, cardboard tubes, and paints to foil, faux jewels, & rhinestones.
- Not all the crafts are included in every session and variations may occur based on the age and interest of the children.
- For downtime we have music, dancing, story time, silly games, and songs.
