Kindergarten Enrichment Program
The annual session begins in third week of September, and continues through last week of May every school year.

Program includes accelerated Academics, Critical thinking & foreign languages!

 

Highlights of our Program

We follow an individual K5-1 curriculum based on the child's age and readiness, with emphasis on building thinking skills using a variety of manipulatives. New education policies and mandated assessments have created an increased demand for early and effective reading instruction methods. We use practical proven research based materials, which include the essential components.   

The best of progressive and traditional teaching practices are used at LFS.

• A Beka Curriculum (Our K-5 Students usually exceed the first grade benchmarks by spring!!!)
  
• Phonics using Sounds Sensible and Touch Phonic units core program
  
• Manuscript Penmanship (Cursive on request)
  
• Fundamental Math Concepts: numbers, time, money, measurement, operations-addition, subtraction, multiplication, simple fractions
  
• Social Studies: American History, Global Awareness
  
• Hands on Science and Nature study
  
• Foreign Languages: Weekly Spanish/French sessions
  
• Critical thinking: The child is taught to think out of the box through strategy games and problem solving skills

 

Days and timings:
Tuesday-Thursday
AM session 9:30AM-11:30AM
PM session 1:00PM-3:00PM (Timings are slightly flexible based on child’s school requirements)
Friday (Optional) - for Language enrichment and Critical Thinking

Program Options:
The student has the option of enrolling for 3 or 4 days.
Language instruction and Critical thinking will be offered on every Friday. (Minimum of five students requesting the same language)

Registration:
$75 non-refundable fee is required to reserve a spot, along with the registration form. (The fee is fully refundable only if Learning Fun School declines admission to the students due to any reason).

Supply Fee:
$75 (A Beka child set, materials for language instruction, critical thinking and craft projects).

Tuition:
4-day program-$440/month
3-day program-$360/month

$50 credit is given for each referral resulting in annual enrollment, as a gesture of appreciation.
