Special features of ESL

ESL is an acronym that is used primarily in educational settings, and stands for English as a Second Language. It refers to teaching English to a person whose native or primary language is one other than English.

Many ESL programs for early childhood, and elementary education focus on the English alphabet and phonetics through a combination of visual and auditory presentations.

English language is introduced to non-native speakers in order to help the students improve their oral skills and proficiency in both reading and writing.

We offer one on one session to meet the varied needs of ESL students- adult/child. The classes can be purely conversational, starting from phonics/script introduction or advanced, based on each student's individual requirements. Flashcards, sign language, total physical response, puppets, charts, video clips, animals/birds/flowers/household items-(miniature toys), etc are used in a diverse combination. This helps to stimulate the auditory, visual and kinesthetic senses to the fullest. This is an excellent program for immigrants from other countries, au pairs, and anyone who wants to improve their English language skills.
